Course Overview
This approved course has been designed for those who have an interest in child and infant basic life support. It will cover the basic knowledge needed when dealing with Infant or Child resuscitation, choking and basic first aid.
Aims and Objectives
This qualification is for anyone who cares for children and babies; including parents, guardians, grandparents or people who have a professional involvement with children and babies. It will allow learners to attain the knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with a range of first aid situations when looking after children.

Duration: 6 hours (not including comfort and lunch breaks)

Certification:
QA Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid at Work (QCF)
certificate upon completion of course, valid for 3 years.
